     THE KENTUCKY CHECKER TOURNAMENT will be held (Saturday and Sunday), October 15 & 16, 2016 as 4 rounds Saturday and 3 rounds Sunday. Starting at 8:00 AM each day. Location Richmond Senior Citizens Center, 1215 W. Main St, Richmond, KY 40475 (map). This location is about 3/4 mile South of La Quinta Inn on US25. Leon Creek called me Friday, 10/14/2016, 5:20 pm telling me the 2016 Kentucky Open was cancelled because they just found out their playing room at Richmond Senior Citizens Center was mistakenly given to another group.
